Tovolo King Cube Extra Large Silicone Ice Cube Trays

I have a bit of an obsession with making large spheres or cubes of ice for alcoholic drinks I make. There’s something very satisfying about a perfectly clear sphere or cubes of ice in a drink that really adds to the joy of drinking. It’s also a popular practice in Japan to turn a large 3” block of ice into a perfect sphere with an ice pick. I’ve always wanted a good ice cube maker to compliment my Muji ice ball maker, and I’ve found one:

This is not for everyone as it is quite inconvenient to use for non-alcoholic drinks, but its awesome if you know the right occasion to use it in. This guy makes 2-inch cubes of ice in its food-grade silicone mold. For some reason, blue is their cheapest color. Why the other colors are more different is a mystery to me. Tovolo also makes another version that makes 15 smaller ice cubes.
